Budget Still an Issue
We are still working hard!

Thanks to one of our dedicated parents, Rebecca Estrada, Terraset PTA is still working hard to ensure our schools do not get crippled by a brutal budget next year.

Indeed, Rebecca will be representing us at a County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, April 7th. Let's do our best to support her! Here's what you can do:
  1. Send Rebecca any short stories about how the schools have helped their kids in the long run.  Her child is only a kindergartner "we are at the begining" she says. She would like to demonstrate how things pay off in the LONG run.
  2. We need numbers in a show of support for our schools at an education rally outside in the front of the Fairfax County Government Center starting at 4:30 p.m. on Tues, April 6, the first day of the County Board of Supervisors (BOS) Public Hearings. Wear your school spirit-wear!
  3. Rebecca is speaker #64 on Wednesday, April 7th.  The hearings start at 3:00 pm and each speaker is allotted three minutes a piece.  That should put her sometime after 6:00 pm. Be there to offer her your support!
  4. Show up at any of the hearings to support the advocates who are presenting - take signs, etc.
