| Dear Friend of Terraset,
After a hectic April, it has been a
relief to enjoy a quiet May. Mind you, with SOL testing going on for
grades 3-6, that's exactly the way it should be.
However, there's plenty on its way to entertain the family!
On May 27th, don't miss Pack 32's
Raingutter Regatta! And you can look forward to another
Tigers-on-the-Town event in June. New Families to Terraset are invited
to join us. See below for more details.
In June the school has the Chorus
Concert on the 9th, Band and Strings Concert on the 15th, Field Days on
the 21st and 22nd, the Language Arts and Social Science Night -
including the Tiger Tales Publishing Party - on the 22nd from
7pm - 8pm, and then the last day of school on Thursday June 24th
when the kids will be dismissed at 11:15am.
The school will need help organizing
all of these June events, so give some thought to when you might be
available to help out. Look for more details in our June edition of
TouchPoint.

Raingutter Regatta
From Cub Scout Pack 32
Cub Scout Pack 32 Invites Boys in Grades K-4 to Come Make a Splash at our Raingutter Regatta!
This fun event will be Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 7 p.m.
at Terraset Elementary. Bring a parent and $4 for a boat kit, put it
together on the spot, and race it with your friends! Learn about
Scouting and how much fun you can have with our Pack!
The Cub Scout program is open to
boys in grades 1-5 (kindergarteners can join now). Pack 32 meets most
Thursdays at Terraset during the school year. Fun summertime activities

Next PTA Meeting June 1st
7pm Terraset Library
The last PTA meeting for the school year will be held on Tuesday, June 1st at 7pm in the Terraset Library.
Have you managed to attend any
meetings this year? This would be a great opportunity to come along,
make your contribution to planning discussions regardings next year's
activities and just get to know some of the other PTA members. If you
will be new to Terraset next year, we would particularly like to see
you!

Next Tigers-on-the-Town
Join us as Baskin Robbins
 Baskin
Robbins at North Point Shopping Center is the place to be on
Thursday, June 10th -- anytime between 6-10pm. Join all the Terraset
Tigers for our last Tigers-on-the-Town for the year!
15% of all sales made during that
time will come back to Terraset PTA. Sounds like a great excuse to
indulge your sweet tooth. In addition, the management have offered four
(4) Baskin Robbins Gift Certificates. For a $1 donation, you can be in
the draw to win one of these great prizes.
Mark this fun event in your diary and plan a fun farewell to this school year!

Last Call for Box Tops
The kids have been working hard collecting Box Tops all year and last
quarter Mrs. Sybert's and Mr. Logan's classes had the highest
participation rates. Remember, it is all about participation.
While we encourage the kids to collect at least 10 box tops per
quarter, if they hand in just one or two they are participating
and are counted for their class.
So, turn in your Box Tops and Campbell's Labels by June 11th!
There will be a sweet treat for the two classes with the highest
participation! The entire school will be competing so help your
class win! Don't forget to write your name and your teacher's
name on the collection sheet or on a baggie so your class gets the
credit.
However, please check the dates on your Box Tops!
The expiration dates do matter. There are many that will be
expiring on June 1st, so please turn them in early so Terraset can get
the credit.
 Thanks to everyone for helping us raise over $700 in Box Tops this year.
