Dear Friend of Terraset,

If you have been in the school for some reason this past week, you will have "felt" the children's anticipation of the end of the year. There is a lot of excitement in the air!

Next Tigers-on-the-Town
Join us as Baskin Robbins

Baskin RobbinsBaskin Robbins at North Point Shopping Center is the place to be on Thursday, June 10th -- anytime between 6-10pm. Join all the Terraset Tigers for our last Tigers-on-the-Town for the year!

15% of all sales made during that time will come back to Terraset PTA. Sounds like a great excuse to indulge your sweet tooth. In addition, the management have offered four (4) Baskin Robbins Gift Certificates. For a suggested donation of $1, you can be in the draw to win one of these great prizes.

You'll find Baskin Robbins at:
North Point Village Center

Last Call for Box Tops

Box Tops The kids have been working hard collecting Box Tops all year and last quarter Mrs. Sybert's and Mr. Logan's classes had the highest participation rates. Remember, it is all about participation. While we encourage the kids to collect at least 10 box tops per quarter, if they hand in just one or two they are participating and are counted for their class.

So, turn in your Box Tops and Campbell's Labels by June 11th!  There will be a sweet treat for the two classes with the highest participation!  The entire school will be competing so help your class win!  Don't forget to write your name and your teacher's name on the collection sheet or on a baggie so your class gets the credit.

However, please check the dates on your Box Tops!  The expiration dates do matter.  There are many that will be expiring on June 1st, so please turn them in early so Terraset can get the credit.

Labels for EducationThanks to everyone for helping us raise over $700 in Box Tops this year.

Terraset Triathletes Out In Force!
Reston Sprint Triathlon Report

Reston is Triathlon crazy it seems and Terraset ES is no exception! We know of at least 15 triathletes in our parent body and we are sure there are more!

Some of Terraset's triathletes competed in last Sunday's Reston Sprint Triathlon. For two of them, Hanne Mescall and Sandra Vasquez, it was their first race and from all accounts they are hooked! No wonder, they both placed in the top 20% of all female competitors!

From Right: Claire Silva (future Terraset parent), Heather Thomas, Liz Falcone, Neil Stobie, Alison Stobie, Juliet McLellan, Annette Bobby and their kids celebrate after Reston Sprint Triathlon.
Terraset Triathletes

Of course, one of the best things about competing in an event like that is to celebrate its completion afterwards. And that's just what our Terraset Tigers did! So, why did this get into a PTA announcement? Well, all these triathletes are PTA members too!
