Assemblies

Tiger Pride is everywhere and one of the programs that helps to build our children's pride in their school is our Assemblies Program.

Designed to provide new and exciting enrichment opportunities each year, the PTA sponsors, plans and presents a series of age appropriate,  educational experiences through the creative arts!

Our assemblies program usually includes a variety of plays, music, story telling, and writing workshops from local and national educationally focused groups and idividuals.

The 2010-2011 program will inlcude:

• Read-a-Thon Kick-off
• Joe Romano presenting "Books: the magic is real!
• Frank Monohan, author of the Stanley & Norman Series of Books, discusses his writing process and the importance of editing. Two assemblies, grades K-2 and 3-6
• Denise Bennett telling original stories and folktales interlaced with harp and vocal music
• Theater IV presents "Hugs and Kisses"
• Andrew Young presents "The Medieval Knight"
